The NPC in LA has the ingrdients needed to make the gifts for the hallloween weapons, but he doesn’t have the recipes for ex “Recipe: Gift of Souls”.

Is this intentional? is it confirmed they drop from mobs or they are not available?

WTH? What’s the point in bringing those halloween weapons back if the recipe is unobtainable, except for an absurd price, and it only works 2 weeks of each year?

In which case, I was thinking of super-grinding/TP’ing the necessary mats, but if I need the recipe for the gift of souls, that puts it way outside realistic goal for the next couple of weeks.

Anyone have the gift of soul recipe learned and happy to craft it for me if I supply the mats?

You don’t need to craft the Gift of Souls recipe during the 2 weeks. Its a permanent recipe in the Forge, always there.

But yes, the recipe for learning to craft the gifts is indeed completely insane in price, even with the increased drop rates this year. They adjusted a lot of the other rewards to be much more reasonable, was kind of hoping they’d adjust these too, but alas.

I agree that the recipes are extremely hard to get (I have farmed labyrinth a LOT over these first few days of the festival and I am looking at-if I grind this much for the whole festival-just about getting the recipe) but I think that was how they were supposed to be- the end reward of a hard grind over Halloween. For a lot of people though, buying might be the only option to get these over the 2 week time if they don’t have enough time for the farming.

With the new crazy high drop rate of Halloween materials, I think the costs for the various Halloween gift recipes are now reasonable, although still a bit of a grind if you were to farm it all yourself. Still, the price I feel is in line with other prestige skins now.

Yah, I suppose this year they aren’t TOO bad. I hadn’t realized just how much the price of the fine crafting materials for them had dropped. I still think the sheer numbers are rather insane (10k Candy Corn and Fine Materials just to craft the Gift recipe?) but the gold cost, while a bit high, isn’t ludicrous now.
