As of the last few living story patches, we have seen a lot. Scarlett. The Queen’s Gauntlet. And Hobo Robo.

Hobo Robo (technically “Hobo-Tron”) was introduced as a funny little NPC who was programmed to panhandle for spare money to cross a bridge. But after completing Scarlett’s Madhouse for the first time, I noticed Hobo Robo in the center of the pavilion during the final boss fights with the barrels. Coincidence? I think not.

In my opinion Hobo Robo is probably some kind of spy/surveillance robot for Scarlett (or whoever she may or may not be working for/connected with… Aetherblades?). But that’s totally unoriginal and probably inaccurate. Anybody got any better hobo robo conspiracies?

hobo tron came from south sun cove, where he was called jobo tron, he’s shocking self aware for a golem so he could turn into a skynet bot (terminator reference)

Scarlet captured Hobo-Tron and the minstrel during the Queen’s Speech invasion instance. That’s why he was in the Madhouse, he was being held captive (I assume for Scarlet’s amusement).

Next we’ll see him in Rata Sum, starting his plan to liberate all the golems and take over the universe. Where are your dragons now?
