The previews tell us alot about this new content, but leave out the most important question of all.

Is the rapier skin going to be available for us to buy? How about the other datamined skins?

I really want this sword skin, because it actually matches the sword animations we have much better than any of the existing longsword, machette, or roman style swords we have in the game. The sword animations look like they should be a rapier or sabre, and this sword would match those so well… I need one of it for each of the classes that can wield a sword.

We were not told anything about weapon skins, AFAIK, nor did I see anything.

We were only told about the armor skins, the main thing being they are sold via the gem store directly.

According to Dulfy, she has not seen them yet.

Yup. Sad here too. I really wanted to get a couple of those pistol skins (revolver ones). Rapier would have been nice to get one as well. I really hope these are added for us players.

I was hoping to get the shield, personally.

And that rapier…. How can ANET make such baddass skins, yet make them unobtainable?

Well I would rather be able to get them in game without having to get them through the gem store. But if they did add them to the gemstore I know I’d buy at least 3 (2 pistols and a sword).
