Seeing that Southsun is now empty and the events don’t scale to allow a smaller group actually control the island, how is anyone supposed to get Settler Armor and Weapons?

This is one of the first meta events i’ve come across that actually needs a PvE commander, I’m kind of split on the subject.

I like having to organize a group and people to do the event.
I like it being a challenge like the temples.
I do not like the rewards offered. Temples have shards, unique looking armor, variety of stats. This one only has one stat and a look of old leveling gear. No reason for end game players to do it really.
I do not like the scaling. I feel like that if a player gets a group of 5, he should be able to do it. At the current state of the reward system, it is vital that atleast one group is able to go through the pre events. The boss on the other hand I think should take atleast 10 people.

You get enough people together to retake all the settlements and then fight the Karka Queen. Once she is beaten you can buy those items. You already knew that though and dont want to bother, I guess. Fair enough, but no settler gear for you then.

Dont need to fight the queen.

Hopefully after Dragon Bash is over there will be more people around Southsun and doing the events will be more realistic.

Of course, the problem with having events every month is that if the next months’ event is just as full of content then everyone might be doing that instead. Funny, but I’m actually kind of hoping for a Flame and Frost style “slow month” just to let the playerbase equalize a bit and get everyone back to doing whatever instead of just the endless cycle of everyone doing the events non-stop.
