How did B-Man lose his powers?(SPOILERS!)
I think the writers forgot about / ignored that detail and will now find a way to write around it, maybe with an off-hand explanation in the next chapter.
I think it will be told in expansion story. I really hope other gods will come back too.
Devs confirmed that he will be back. Maybe some god-fight?

How did they forget the detail when Balthazar himself points this out?
Did the voice actor go rogue and add something to his dialog?
How involved are the other gods? Lyssa let him use her mirror, and melandru allowed him to take shelter in her first garden. Why would Kormir allow him to destroy Tyria?

I already argued that due to his nature, he may have just bullied said things from the gods. In addition to that, the gods may be actively fighting each other. I highly doubt Melandru allowed him to take shelter and then allowed her guardian spirits to aid you in evicting him. And for all we know, he jacked the mirror off Lyssa.
Menzies maybe? Balth’s half brother has always been after Balth’s power. It’s old lore. As pushy as Balth is, I can see the other gods helping him in preference over dealing with Menzies.
Could be a way of working that struggle back into the story and giving us access to FoW again? Probably just wishful thinking, but it wouldn’t be the first time we’ve helped one of the gods. We did sort of help Grenth put Dhuum back into his box once upon a time.
Its also entirely possible the gods aren’t aware that destroying the dragons may destroy Tyria. They aren’t native to it after all.
(I haven’t played the story yet, Im just working off bits and pieces Ive seen so far)

Maybe he betrayed the other five and allianced himself with Dhuum (or even let him free). It seemed like he was stripped of a large part of his godly powers, and was not amused of it. Seeking some kind of revenge maybe, we will have to see. Btw, i dont think hes dead/exploded. The mirror of Lyssa could be stolen by him, so it isnt sure shes in on this Balt plot.
Apparently the devs stated in an AmA that we haven’t seen the last of B, so he isn’t dead, just banished or something.
Badazar took them.
All hail Badazar!!!
