Guild Wars 2

This achievement is completely ridiculous. I play at least 30 hours a week, but only two or three hours at a time. People need to sleep, eat, work, etc… It takes over half an hour to complete IF you manage to show up at just the right time AND the correct invasion spawns, AND you get credit for it.

I am completely sick of watching the clock to rush to the computer and check in only to see that it’s still not Bloodtide Coast, the map I THINK I need. I have only seen that map TWICE since the whole thing started. It was the first map I went to the first time I logged in, and of course got the lovely red message that the invasion was not running in this overflow. The only other time I raced in at like 8 minutes after the hour, only to get the same stupid message, even though you are supposed to have 10 minutes to get into the start of the event. It must have started a few minutes early which it does now and then. Just great.

This is supposed to be a game I can sit down an enjoy at my leisure, instead I am setting my alarm, interrupting my life and even my fun in WvW, because I have to hop out to check that it’s still not Bloodtide. Do I stay up another hour and lose sleep to HOPE that the next one will be it?

Just great. I stay up until 2AM, get Bloodtide and STILL 12/13. Just kitten wonderful.

I ignored it. Got the meta and I’m done with it.

Let’s be frank. Extremely hardcore people wanted an excruciatingly hard achievement to get, and they got it. Those with jobs and/or families can’t get it without resorting to XTC or speed. Not getting it is the real achievement imho.

I’m stuck 12/13 too. And not because I haven’t done all 13 maps. Repeatedly. Because 1 map won’t update. And I don’t know which one.

got 13/13 by accident yesterday. Was doing daily with my low level necro on gendarran when the event hit. Could be very frustrating if you do not know what map did not register.

I was at 12/13 and I got mine by accident too. Was on a map that I had done before but on a different day. I think that maybe you do not have to do 13 different maps, just different maps daily.

terribad tracking system. totally the dev’s fault. pretty sure that my opinion is shared by anet and they intend to give better event tracking feedback in future releases.
