Lazarus was really Balthazar in disguise. We unmask him and he steals the machine Taimi was working on to use the elder dragon’s energy against each other. Taimi has a tracker on the machine, so we know where it is, the big volcano on the fire island chain. We go there in a submarine and discover the druids are angry with Balthazar and us disturbing their home. We convince them we mean no harm so they tell us Balthazar went into the volcano and give us magic fire protection to follow. We find Balthazar has the machine set up right next to Primordus and uses it to try to steal the elder dragons energy for himself. We the hero and Taimi think this could destroy the world so we smash the machine with him in it. We stop his plan, but he vanishes before we do anything else to him. Destroying the machine also put Jormag and Primordus into hibernation.

It helps to follow the story from episode 1 at the very least. It’s not really something that you can just start partway into.

You should also realize that the stories are smaller in favor of more maps. We have been getting a map each episode compared to the two we got across season 2’s eight episodes. This offers more replayability.

LOL exactly Make no sense how can we but jormag into hibernation when we did not even shot him with it. Also Why are the commander always like ‘’ let’s kill everything in our way, even if it’s our own gods ’’ !?
It make sense if the commander was Charr, Norn, Sylvari or Asura, but Human?!
Humans and the Six gods are something special, something they’re praying and granted blessings from.
Just because the kitten commander and the little annoying Taimi kitten has a theory that Balthazar will take over the world bla bla bla….
It’s one of OUR gods. We just can’t kill our god who has been a blessing for the humans for over 250 years and even more! (GW1~ years aswell)
Just imagine if Jesus Christ or Buddha would come to our world and then we must kill them because we BELIEVE that they are evil?
No but for real….
I am a huge fan of the Six gods, as my favorite race is human and their lore. I just hate how lazy ANet turn something like … oh I don’t know, a GOD to evil just like that and we have to kill them!?
I simply don’t get it. As the commander (in my case, my ‘main’ character is a human) shouldn’t even consider to kill one of our god just like that!!
I was excepting the human characters would be more how Kasmeer reacted when we revealed Lazarus’ imposter’s identity also why is the god war one of the most powerful gods in guild wars pretend to be somebody else
No make sense.

I can give you a summary of key events:

  • Zhaitan awakes, destroys Lions Arch.
  • Cobiah Marriner rebuilds Lions Arch.
  • The rest of the world accepts Zhaitan may be a bigger threat than originally believed. The pact is formed as a unison of the five largest civilizations, supported by minor civilizations, and denied by dome (see tengu) to combat the Elder Dragon.
  • An Asura learns of the magic corruption of Elder Dragons, Zojja devices a cannon that absorbs the corrupted magic and fires it back at Zhaitan to kill it. ED1 down.
  • peaceful times
  • Molten Alliance is formed
  • Toxic Court is formed
  • Aetherblade is formed
  • Scarlet attacks and destroys Lion’s Arch, because a leyline node was directly underneath it. Hitting it, and overloading the channel caused Mordremoth to awaken.
  • Sylvari Rebellion
  • Rata Novus found, weakness of elder dragons found
  • Mordremoth fought and defeated by breaking his mind. Trahearne executed because he bore a fragment of Mordremoth’s mind from which he could be reborn.
  • peaceful times
  • Soldiers went missing, a group of adventurers (note, canonically not the pact commander) followed the trail of bandits.
  • behind the bandits a unison of the White Mantle was found
  • Xera was defeated, but the stasis chamber is empty. The white mantle was deceived into believing they resurrected Lazarus successfully, but were fooled by Balthazar and his mirror he took (or stole) from Lyssa.
  • White Mantle orchestrates a regicide against Queen Jennah, but fails. Caudecus is executed soon after.
  • Braham successfully recovers a legendary artifact that once wounded Jormag, denies the commander and heads north.
  • The commander exposes the lies of Lazarus and reveals he’s Balthazar. Balthazar in turn has been deprived of magic to a point he’s no longer as godlike as he once was. He intends to end the elder dragons and take their magic to restore his glory. We manage to stop him, but he’s recovered quite a bit. Taimi believed executing any more elder dragons could cause fluctuating imbalance that may end the world.
  • (future) Braham may use the super-arrows on the now knocked-out Jormag
  • (future) Balthazar may come back to try again, or go after Jormag as well

Balthazar had no power that a lie cause he the explosion
And stuck all the magic power from blood stone.

I’m having some trouble to understand what you’re saying, but it sounds like you mean “Balthazar had no power to cause the explosion”
Well, as you read the books from Bauer there were issues with the Bloodstone well before the ritual that should’ve resurrected Lazarus. According to Bauer several researchers complained about the cracks in the Bloodstone and the leaking magic. I guess it’s the Tyria-universe’s equivalent of working on a nuclear plant with cracked vessels. When Balthazar entered, the Bloodstone burst and all it’s magic blew out. My guess is that Balthazar saw the Bloodstone was damaged, and gave it the final blow so he could absorb the magic.
Then, with the power the Bloodstone restored, he went out and took over the White Mantle. He knew however, the White Mantle was only a short-term solution to his long-term problem. He had but little time before they would figure out he wasn’t Lazarus, so he ditched the majority of them and made a larger army of the bandits and mercenaries who worked for the White Mantle and other’, and gave them all the White Mantle supplies. A funny gimmick on this part is that one event (currently bugged) is caused by the bandits and mercs not knowing what to do with the Bloodstone shards and ditch it in the volcanic pit, which causes a crazed wurm to appear.
