Guild Wars 2

I’m simply very confused with this game, and i’ve never played it much because of it. People say that you can play the game in anyway you want but that’s a lie. I decided to just do the things that was closest to me, and i ended up being killed by high level enemies (Wasn’t a part of a quest) so i decided to change my playing style. No matter what i pick i always feel like i’m playing the game wrong. Any help?

High level enemies? What starter area are you in?

There are some high-leveled zones close to the starter zones.
If you look at the map you will be able to see the level-span of a zone.

Obviously, there are always some constraints to exactly how you can play. Take a lvl 7 into Sparkfly and you’re gonna get stomped. Try to solo the Shadow Behemoth in Queensdale (if you could somehow get rid of all the campers) and you’re going to get stomped. If you’re encountering “high level enemies” then you’re in the wrong place. Stay in the zones at or below your level and you’ll have a fulfilling time questing.
