I miss Living Story
Well based on timing of the attacks increasing and the Pact forces getting further ahead they decided now was the time to attack, and being that they wanted Heart of the Maguuma to be something special they went ahead with a expansion pack.
I feel it is nearly impossible to continue the story without it being dragged on and on until HoT. For now either take a breather from the game and come back with HoT or just play a bit more casually.

That’s where a little spin off come in.
Either give us Sab season 3, or the whole journey of Rytlock being at the Mist!.
But what we’ll most likely get is bored to hell Season 3 WvW I bet.
I would rather have LA restored to be honest.
It`s a side story and as we apearently don`t get any Tengu (which are close to it) in the near future, as well as no Mordrem attack on LA (again), I doubt it will be destoryed right after being rebuild.
There are other tales they could tackle, but this is certainly a plot they could go for (aside from the obvious Sylvari war, they could get out of the way, before HoT comes out)
This isn’t the first time there’s been a lull in the 2 week update cycle, and it won’t be the last. There’s usually something new, and right now that’s the lunar festival. Pretty soon, something new will replace it, and we’ll have something else to enjoy or rant over, or both, as some people seem to enjoy ranting.
I also find it mildly ironic how you changed your mind from the last thread you started. From “does the living world suck” to “I miss living world!” I guess you never know a good thing until it’s gone.
i think give a rebuilding of la would be a good killer of time before the release of the exspansion plus im sick of seeing la get no love since the destruction. maybe a side piece where we fix the waypoints too
Season 2 wasn’t actually a bi-weekly update, the average time between two consecutive season 2 updates was 4 weeks (slightly shorter, though nowhere near 2 weeks, if you count seasonal events). That’s just for season 2 whcih was preceeded by a fairly long break if I recall corectly. Can’t remember the time between season 1 updates, so there may have been bi-weekly updates at some point but there haven’t been for a while now.
Well, there were 20 episodes of LS 1 (my favorite of the 2 seasons of LS since it was open world and not instanced and the story got to me, from refugees and esp. the destruction of Lions Arch) from January 2013 thru March 2014, which didn’t count a month of the first SAB in April, Bazaar of Four Winds, another SAB in Sept, Tequatl Rising, Blood and Madness for Halloween and Wintersday 2014. Yeah, it was temporary, but it certainly was fun.
