Wintersday is NOT the same as last year. Although I feel most of the features likely will be, Halloween got old very quick because of lack of new content and I feel Wintersday could fall into the same trap. Can’t say I’m expecting too much but I guess we’ll see. Thoughts?

The problem here is that if they change stuff, people will complain that they removed stuff from last year.
If they don’t change stuff people will complain that they are lazy and didn’t add anything new.
So no matter how they do it there will always be people that are complaining.

I for one would assume (based on what ArenaNet said around the first anniversary) that the holiday events will largely be the same now that they have built a base on them to stand on. Which is fine by me.

Well just don’t go into it with any expectations. I thought Mad King’s day was gonna be awesome like last year, but I was disappointed. So I’m just gonna set my expectations low. As long as Lion’s Arch is decorated like last year with the festive music, then I’ll be happy.

Considering what they did to Halloween, I’d rather see Wintersday exactly the same as last year than suffer the bad changes that they inevitably will make.

why remove anything, they don’t have to remove anything, just add stuff and leave the things from last year alone.
