Idea to stop breach-hopping
The main problem with the magic find boost is that it doesn’t affect the main source of loot at all: The champion bags. The perseverance buff just affects the extra loot you get from the bandit chests, but not the champion bag from the chest.
Though if the cooldown times of the events were significantly reduced, more people may stay, as at the moment there is just too much time standing around doing nothing. And the pact preparations just takes way too long.

Breach hopping is one of the main reasons that this meta has still remained worth doing for many people. Take that away and you’ll likely see less people willing to do it.
You’d still see it, this wouldn’t stop it, it would just make it possible for maps to lose 50% of the population instead of 90%
You’ll have another Dry Top.
Meh magic find is pretty much worthless in general and even more so in Silverwastes. Most of the loot there comes containers that are unaffected by MF. I am still wondering what drugs the designers were on when they came up with that.
The only people that would be getting any benefit out of it are those escorting the pack bulls.
one way that may be possible, when people log in or map into silverwaste they will already have a form of tracking that can only be worked off from doing events. If breach/vines come up and they have not worked it off. They do not get to participate in the events. It will boot them out just like it does with vines and tracking.

You will see Silverwastes get abandoned pretty quickly with that.
Having the Time-Out reset be less doesn’t make sense from an in-game perspective. Because you defeated Mordremoth, his minions respawn quicker? No, if anything they should respawn slower. (In-game logic, not player rewards.)
What needs to be done here, though, is have a better reward to do while in Time-Out. Currently, the only thing you can do besides stray quests or just wait is the underground labyrinth, and it sounds like this isn’t that rewarding at all. What sort of reward would people want to be able to find during a time out to make it worth sticking around for? Another legendary boss like the sand giant in Dry Top? Some sort of desert-themed minigame? An area unlocked like the Undergrowth, but with not so many luminaries lurking around ready to eat your face off?

Why would we need another? People barely touch that one right now.

There are a number of Legendary mini bosses in SW. Everyone goes for them when they appear because they don’t just fear/KD everyone that fights them

Those are not “like the sand giant in Dry Top”.
