Is Dragon Bash Isolated?
I have high expectations for the festival, but I still want to know who my nemesis is! xD
I mean, it wasn’t Canach, right? (Was it supposed to be Canach?)
So… Now we play the guessing game? Kiel said something about securing the area for the festival, so it looks like that was the whole point of the Southsun Cove bit of the Living Story.
My guess is that something will go terribly wrong during the festival, but not like the Halloween or the Wintersday (Toypocalypse and stuff). Worse. Like “this-is-a-war” worse.
I can’t wait!

Well, if you did the event in Southsun where you guard the Dolyak, Kiel is ordered to take time off and have fun, and one of the people mentions the upcoming Dragon Festival. Seems very obvious Kiel will be enjoying the festivities. If something were to ruin the party, Im sure Kiel will be the first to act, despite being on vacation, as per typical dedicated officer plot.
Fairly certain that the tie in is that Magnus needed Kiel to resolve the issue at Southsun so that he and the council could focus their efforts on how they wanted to celebrate the dragon festival. Some people wanted to maintain tradition, while others thought praising the very type of creatures that are their enemies is bad taste. The Council agreed on turning the holiday into Dragon Bash which somewhat resolves these two conflicts.
This quote is also seems to be how Dragon Bash will tie into the Living Story as a whole:
“During the celebration, players will also be introduced to Marjory Delaqua, an investigator who travels in the shadowy underworld of Lion’s Arch.”
Edit: And the video they just posted just said that Kiel is playing a role in this month’s crisis so I suppose there is a bigger connection than what I wrote.
