I’m just curious, but the Lost Shores content was released back in November. I recently went back through it on the wiki and filled in a lot of gaps on the documentation, as well as attached dialogue to the different phases (1 and 2 have it on subpages linked on the pages, 3 has it on the regular page) in order to try and make the lore available to understand, however I was curious.

Does ArenaNet count the Lost Shores content as part of the Living Story? Does anyone know? It came out before they had set up the whole Living Story thing, which may mean it’s not, but they’re using it as the backstory for these last two releases, so I’m thinking it’s part of it.

The Lost Shores was a living story arc. It was the first. It had a lot of problems and they listened to the feedback and adjusted future ones to that feedback.

Things such as no one time events, instanced areas, etc. But yes, it is a living story arc and was the first.

Yea no it wasnt because they didnt have the whole living story concept at the time. But they can easily retcon it to be one of course.
