I was having an argument with someone in LA that it was over and they were convinced it wasn’t. Confirm or deny, someone?

The last episode was the last episode. If you define a season as only being those episodes, it’s over. If however you do not define a season simply by its episodes, it’s not over until the expansion is released. They could still add small gap fillers in.

When a TV show adds an extra episode as a bridge between seasons, what is it considered? Season 2 extra/episode 8.5, Season 2.5, or Season 3 episode 0.

There was a season finale, so I think it’s reasonable to assume it’s over.

After we completed the last episode, we got a trailer for what is planned next. It ended with the Heart of Thorns theme and logo, so it’s probably the expansion what’s coming next. If there is anything planned between now and the release of the expansion, we don’t know. It was not announced anywhere, as far as I remember.

From the story’s point of view, there is no space between the last episode and what is probably coming in the expansion. So either no LS for the next months, or some filler episode(s) with a side-story to entertain the waiting players. I would like to see Lion’s Arch rebuilt and Kessex Hills cleansed, for example. Especially Kessex Hills is a real eyesore, and I mean this not only from a story’s point of view. But announced is nothing. I assume there is nothing until the release of the expansion.

tyloric season 2 final started on ja 13th an ends tomorrow 27th. this last saturday on jan 24th they was at pax south in texas an anounced a new expansion of events if you look in the new section here heart of thorns..then the attention builds as anet is working very hard to get to us!
