Thump, Thump. Time to jump.

Wipe all resistance from your mind

There’s a secret deep below to find

If you’d only seen the things I’ve seen

You’d wake up screaming from The Dream

This next part will sting, but it brings me joy

Sometimes to change you must destroy

A fire is rising you cannot contain

Tyria will burn, while I remain.

Anyone think the design/logo thing on the front has any significance? Or is it just something from the metronome company?

I kinda get a Primordus feeling from the end there, but why would he have anything to do with Scarlet?

People seriously don’t read do they? The caption under the picture states that the symbol is the symbol for the company that made the metronome. Seriously people….

Yeah, it seems like Scarlet has seen what Primordus will do once he reaches the surface. This little poem has done more for Scarlet’s character than the whole living story :P,

It almost sounds like she will become more like Saren from Mass Effect, that is join the enemy to survive their onslaught, or something similar at least.

Perhaps the the Thumpers along the ley lines will cause the world of Tyria to time jump?

It’s an obvious point to the Thumpers, their work at whatever is underground and what that will cause.

Curious that it was sent as a metronome. An object to keep time, but with music and beats and not the actual telling of time like a clock. Remember before the Clockwork invasion Scarlet (ANET) sent out those pocket watches to a few people with a very similar inscription/poem.

Clocks and metronomes are good symbols of order as well.
After all they are consistent, orderly, and there’s a pattern.
Scarlet claims to try and break such things.

Well, it seems fairly confirmed that the next Living Story will involve Primordus and the Destroyers then. The probes must have been calling them to the surface; my guess is that Scarlet placed them along the ley lines to send out a signal that Primordus (and possibly the other Elder Dragons) can hear.

What Zaxares makes sense. All these Alliances and trying to assassinate Queen Jenna was meant to keep us, the heroes, distracted as she secretly planted more of the “Do Not Touch” thumper turrets on the ley lines. If you’ve noticed there have been more and more appear with each living story under our noses since we were too distracted with capturing Scarlet and ending her alliances. Just an idea.
