I was exploring Lion’s Arch yesterday and came across a hidden cave full of (unopenable) chests and a very special looking cat in it!

Does anyone know if this was there before the rebuild? I don’t remember it but I was exploring more than usual this time and may simply have missed this one as the cave was pretty well hidden.

I love the hidden cats that crop up everywhere

There was a cave in the NW corner with the vista and POI, and then the caves on the east side with the JPs.

The cave was there before, we had to go in it to get things for the Escape from LA chapter. I don’t recall the cat, however (though I was fighting Scarlet Minions and not soaking in ambiance at the time.

This cat, though. It has a pointy face! It has a lean(er) body! It’s not the typical bloated pug face blocky monstrosity that makes the usual feline in this game! It’s still not fluid enough in its movements but this cat, THIS cat I want a mini of.

That’s Captain Edward Scratch a.k.a Blackwhiskers, the one true ruler of Lion’s Arch from the shadows who has always been there.

This find of yours has indeed brought great misfortune on you, for now that you’ve laid your gaze upon him, you must die so the secret can be kept.

With Chauncey having DR wrapped around his paw, and the doom brigade training in the borderlands, it’s only a matter of time before Tyria succumbs to its new furry masters.
