Guild Wars 2

Heya readers,

to start quickly this is a thread to hopefully get some help for myself in completing The Queen’s Gauntlet living story… I have a lvl 80 thief and warrior and have been having quite some trouble with the gauntlet. I am currently at 9/11 for that pesky completion achievement worth 40 points and that is what I am aiming for-achievement points. I have tried many different builds, spending more than 40g so far on new equipment and other stuff to try to get it working and it has only helped a little.

Currently I am at Deadeye Dunwell and I can’t get past him on either character (yeah I know Imma scrub, w/e lol) … so I was wondering if some more experienced peeps could give some pointers on how to own these guys and get mai achievement points! The other achievements I have left are the humble victory, as well as the other tier 3 gambit achievements, liandri, and the meatless murderer. Thanks in advance for any pointers,

Speaking from a Thief perspective, Deadeye can actually be pretty easy, so I’ll just tell you how I did it. I went with a full berserker build using D/P. Right off the bat used Basilisk Venom and then #3 skill to shadowstep to Deadeye and then just auto attack (Haste might be useful). Whenever he ports somewhere else, just shadowstep again using #3 skill and then blind and auto attack. I am still working on Liadri, but am finding that a condition damage build is working much better. Good luck!

deadeye is easy with a thief. i went condi spec and just mauled him with bleeds from the shortbow, using dagger storm once to reflect his volley back to him.
