This is a theory, I wrote before Out of the Shadows.
I would like present it with my drawing. And I would like explain you these lines. I will hide my opinions as a spoiler.

Kralkatorrik——-> Glint —-—-> Glint’s Egg
Kralkatorrik is an Elder Dragon. He created his champions- Shatterers and Glint.
Glint is a champion of Kralkatorrik, she was the mother of Gleam and as we know Aurene. She could show the future.
Mursaat——->Exalted———-> Glint’s Egg
Mursaat- I didn’t know about Lazarus, it was about every Mursaat. I knew that the Exalted and Mursaat are connected to a certain extent.
Exalted=Glint’s Legacy, they are characters which changed their lives, because they want sacrifice themselves after Glint’s death. They want protect the Egg and Aurene.
Primordus——->Glint’s Egg
This is a new thread. I didn’t know that he will send his forces against the Egg. I am very curious, how did he know about the Egg so fast. Or who told him about it. And I know what you could think… Caithe, but no. She was in the Grove and Bloodstone Fen, and in Tarir, when Aurene was born. I suspect… Mordremoth. Mordremoth was obsessed with the Egg. But this is for another note.
And the most complicated part of my drawing.
Mordremoth is an Elder Dragon. He created Sylvari, Shadow of the Dragon and mordrems.
He send Shadow of the Dragon, who had to destroy the Pale Tree and had to steal the Egg.
Sylvari was connected with the Dream and Mordremoth, but after Mordremoth’s death, the voice of the Dragon disappeared.
But I could see something different with Caithe. It was like: she was connected with Mordremoth. Mordremoth wanted use her, because she had to bring the Egg to him, BUT the voice of the Dream and her Wyld Hunt didn’t allow that she wanted bring the Egg to him.
She heard the voice of Mordremoth: “bring the Egg to me. Obey me” and she listened to him, BUT I think that something was inside her, that she could not bring the Egg. Like the weird mission. She took the Egg and she didn’t know why, she took this Egg. Even the Pale Tree was surprised.
The Commander thought that she wanted bring the Egg to Mordremoth, but in the last chapter, she said: “The Egg must be protected”. “Protected” in good meaning. We got a proof of it.
Faolain said “Bring the Egg to me”. It wasn’t Faolain, it was Mordremoth already, but in the Faolain’s “body”. Mordremoth was convinced that she will bring the Egg, but she didn’t give the Egg to him. She said “the Egg is my Wyld Hunt”.
We can say that “she is a traitor”, but look, she said “it was all gray.”
“I was all gray”, she didn’t know why, but she felt that the Egg is a Light in the Darkness. She didn’t get a vision, but she knew about the Egg. She said: “this Egg could be the key to defeating the dragons”.
It was bad, that she didn’t trust us, but I understand her. It is not easy to be a dragon’s minion. But she was the first Sylvari, who tried break Mordremoth’s mind.
The Pale Tree- she was connected with Mordremoth, but after Mordremoth’s death, new Sylvari was born.
The Pale Tree is something like Glint, can give prophecies. The strangest thing in LS2 was that she showed us a vision with… the Egg. This is why, one line is connected with the Egg.
You can disagree with me and I am ready for discussion.
I don’t defend Caithe, I just want show her in a positive light, but I know about her mistakes.
So, don’t talk about Caithe too much, please. And I don’t want prohibit you, but I already know about your opinions about Caithe, so let discuss!
