Guild Wars 2

Ok So I completed the entire season 2 on 1 char.
Now I’m going through and working through in stages on my other chars.
In entanglement I went through “discovering scarlets break through”
First char got the Canon and Steam minitaur achieves.
Both my other chars I try to get the “No Tricks” achievement and nothing.

I know I’m late to the game with this but is it bugged, or is there something else then no using the cannon or steam minataur?

You can’t do that achievement on the first try of a character – you first have to play through the whole episode with that char and then return to that mission.
(That’s only true for some achievements, some can completed on the first try. I don’t really know why it is that way.)

Ah… Is there a list of those achievements somewhere by any chance?
Just so I don’t spaz every time….

Story achievements. If you look at your personal story you can see which ones you have completed once and can now do achieves.

well y-no… even though it’s stated that you can only do the story achievements after the first completion of the episode on that char, it’s still possible for a few of those achievements to get them on the first try. (As the OP stated, he got 2 of 3 achievements in a certain story, while the char hasn’t completed the whole episode)
The one in “Hidden Arcana” or “Arcana Obscura” where you have to defeat your doppelganger in this mirror is an example. Did this one on the first run with my second char.
