According to gw2 ls3 trailer and gw1 informations i have imagines that the new thread is Palawa joko. Anyone else have not it?:)
A lot of other element are also in favot of this idea (undead, the forbidden, brill,…)
Your ideas about it?

I have no idea how you came up with this idea. It never even occured to me. Please explain why you think this.

I didn’t see anything about Palawa Joko in the trailer.

There was, however, a reference to the Crystal Desert in one of Taimi’s journal entries.

Perhaps, you’ve confused the two?

LS3 and Undead “men”? Please explain me…, us your idea…

1) palawa has conquiered Elona continent in gw1, now the last area that he wants is krytia. The only access between Elona and krytia is crystal desert (the old kingdom of the “fordidden”, the brill protector.

2) in the video we can see an undead army, same as palawa joko army. Also the last guy that we can see is similar to palawa.

3) we can also imagine that palawa wants to conquiere krytia and could use the brill egg, to control the dragon.

I’m pretty sure that’s not an undead army, that’s an army of white mantle zealots. It’s just the same moving-cut-out art style that we got with undead cinematics.

If he wants the egg, why not just go through Rata Sum. Kryta seems a bit out of the way.

SPOILER ALERT
The Egg is Wild Hunt of Caithe, she won’t give away the Egg. Same Exalted. They will protect the Egg at any cost (after birth we will protect the dragon).

Moreover he could not take the Egg because:

1) dragon is born right now and only Mordremoth could steal the Egg, but he didn’t.
2) Too many Exalted, they open gate to Egg only for Egg’s bearer (us) and other Exalted.

The new threat is the White Mantle, the endless trailer shots and pics are taken mostly from raid wing 2 and 3 but theres a few new ones which seem to show the raid under a red mist suggesting the bloodstone is going critical.

The mantle are the new threat, and I wouldnt be surprised if we see them make a move on DR in S3 Episode 1 by the teasers and indication.

I expect the following:

- At least 1 possibly even 2 new zones, 1 large, 1 small possibly.

- A moderately long story, probably 4-6 hours of playtime in length.

- DR will likely turn into a battleground at one point, and get severely damaged.

- Possible introduction of phasing technology if they choose to avoid this direction outright.

Although I highly doubt Palawa Joko is going to be apart of this current living story, I do believe he does have somewhat of a place in the deeper future of the current story.

The white mantle want to bring back Lazarus the mursaat. I believe they will succeed in this some how and bring him back. However the only way to see the mursaat, is to become ascended. The only place we know of where you can get ascended is the crystal desert. In the Crystal Desert, there lies the great dragon Kralkatorrik.

I think we’ll get to fight Kralkatorrik or meet him once we reach that place either before or after we get ascended. Then we have to find a Seer who will infuse our armor with spectral agony resistance so Lazarus doesn’t one shot everyone when we finally get to fight him.

While in the Crystal Desert its entirely possible Palawa Joko could show up. But thats very much unknown. Maybe Palawa also has problems with the dragon getting in his way, causing him not to cross the crystal desert himself. Maybe hes waiting for us to destroy Kralkatorrik before he invades and now we have the Elona expansion.

However, i doubt Elona will be the next expansion. Maybe the 4th. The next expansion might have us finally getting the chance to travel to the crystal desert. And when Elona does come out, I also doubt we’ll get to explore the entire place. Maybe like 3-5 large new maps or something.
