Yeah, I was just griping about this elsewhere. Arenanet likes to do this thing where they get me excited for a patch and then don’t release it until after I have to go to bed, and that time is quickly creeping upon us already. It’s really frustrating. Some of us work nights, you know.

That was fixed almost 2 hours ago…

They still have almost 12,5 hours to release it before the time is up.

Its only 241pm EDT, which makes it 1141am PDT. They got until close of business their time…. (before they are ‘officially’ late)

I just want the patch notes before I get off work so I can read them all before I get home to play.

Nah, they tend to shift from release to release.

On a more serious note, I don't mind the time at all.

I’m sure even if there is stiff seriously wrong they would still work after business hours. The update will come when it comes no sooner or later than that.

I fairly vividly remember early patching, yes.

The last two updates launched much earlier than this…. Le sigh

The very last patch was much earlier in the day, actually. I’m usually keenly aware of the time frame as on Tuesdays I leave my house at 5:30 eastern and don’t usually get back to the computer that day. So I was very happy to have so many hours to explore Dry Top’s new section.

Right now I have about 2 hours left in my playing day — AND IT COMES. New build in 10 minutes!

And then it’s a disappointing patch.

Oh, there HAVE been earlier patches, but there have also been later patches. Edge of the Mists patch comes to mind.

Just an FYI, Patch Notes are up, but the patch is not yet up as well. Likely will be soon though since they posted the patch notes.
