Well I created a lot of topics on this forum already but what if the REAL Lazarus will be revealed?!

It’s said that Lazarus is a god for WM and now Balthazar killed many of them. Lazarus vs Balthazar battle? :O

I want to know what “one stayed behind” means.

That would be a very interesting twist if real Lazarus showed up.

Except that Lazarus was never revived. So that is impossible.

After the fight with Xera we didn’t find his aspects. They disappeared.

Konig has really interesting theory that these aspects work in the similar way as the horcruxes of Voldemort. I mean every aspect has its own life and doesn’t necessarily need all 5 to exist as it own.

Lazarus thread wasn’t completed yet- we have to find out what happened to 4 of his aspects.

If Konig theory is correct then we should see more about Lazarus the Dire.

Sorry to crash your party…. but seriously, nothing in recent developments and the trailer hint towards Lazarus so imo it is worthless to get hopes high up for that. I’ll get my high hopes up for some Livia personally

It seems almost certain Balthazar is the one left behind. Short of them saying balth was always Lazarus from the beginning even in gw1, I suspect the real lazarus will remain a hanging thread.

I hope I’m wrong I really do, but then again is one single mursaat actually a threat?

I have to agree with this one. 6-8 people killed Mursaat by the hundreds once they figured out how to see them. One clever Mursaat should be easy enough. The only reason Lazarus would have been a threat was if he had actually been the one to eat a bloodstone. But we know now that if he did return, he’d be the same regular guy we dispatched easily in GW EotN.

If they do bring back Lazarus they’d have to find a new way to make people care. Make him threatening again.

No, of the Six Gods who “left Tyria,” Abaddon stayed behind. Of course we destroyed him and replaced him with Kormir in Nightfall… but I fully expect ANET to bring Abaddon back with some machination… maybe for giggles they’ll rehash Shiro also.

It would be poor form to undermine gw1 player accomplishments.

I agree 100%. I still think it may happen.

Poor Shiro. Would have to die a 4th time. Would also make channeling him weird as a revenant. But then, we used the hounds of Balthazar against the hounds of Balthazar, so whatever.

About this theory that Lazarus may come back.

I think Kormir or other god is too easy to guess that one of them stayed behind.

I don’t think that consuming the bloodstone energy by Balthazar can mean that we will not see Lazarus anymore.
So it seems Lazarus may not need any magic to rebuild himself just his horcruxes, sorry aspects.

Well I personally hope that ‘one stayed behind’ means one of 6 Human Gods, but Lazarus was also thread from Raid with Xera.
I just want to remind you that the aspects disappeared and we know nothing about what happened with them. Until this disappearance won’t be explained I will still think that Lazarus is alive.
