Has anyone else had trouble with their karka kills not being counted?

50/50 Karka Kills but shows only 48/50
White Crane Terrace – killed karka on rocks – not counted
Commodores Quarters – killed karka in hidden bedroom – not counted

Not sure if it’s a bug or if I hit a glitch somewhere. When I go back to try and kill them again, they’re not there to be killed.

Anyone know a way to fix this?

If those are the two showing as not being done in the achieve panel and you are not seeing them any more at the locations then I would say it is a bug. You might want to take a screen shot of the two locations where you can no longer see the karkas as well as your achievement page showing the missing ones and submit a ticket.

Thanks, Aerinndis. I’ll do that again. Wasn’t sure if anyone else was having the problem or not and I wanted to check here to see. I did turn in a ticket yesterday before writing this, but didn’t add any screens with it. I’ll go back and add them.

Right, so three support tickets in-game and one support ticket filed on the website and I finally got a reply that says, essentially, “Sucks to be you.”

What they actually said was “Please note that the Guild Wars Support Team does not have the capability to reset, advance, or otherwise modify quest progression for an individual character or account. We suggest that you try to complete the quest again or simply abandon the quest and obtain it again from the NPC that gives that particular quest.”

There is NO way I know of to “abandon” or restart an achievement like this. So in other words I’m screwed. If anyone knows of a way, will you please let me know? I don’t mind going back into Sharkmaw caverns to do that part if I can just get the ones that glitched for me at Commodore’s Quarters and White Crane Terrace.

I wonder if they actually expect people to buy their expansion if this is the sort of “support” they offer when a player has a problem. Have they gotten so big that they don’t have the ability to provide the level of support we saw at the beginning of GW2?

Did you compare the descriptions that aren’t triggered to Dulfy or other guides?

There are two karka in the Commodore’s Quarter bedrooms, and several on rocks in the White Crane Terrace area. It is possible that you read the still grayed description and mistook it for another which you have gotten.

Edit: Also, that reply looks like a generic copy/paste response for blocking bugs. If you replyto it then you should get a better response. But I would compare to guides if you haven’t yet.

If you find that the karka in the guides are not in-game, send a screenshot of the location in-game with the achievement panel open (highlighting the missing karka panel if possible) and spot the karka should be visible,and a picture of the guide. This should get a better response. Even a basic reply should get a non-generic copy/paste.
