Living Story Questions (S1 and S3?)
Season1: I think unlikely due to the work involved, however it is much requested. If they can find a way to scale it down and rework the entire year into manageable and playable content, it would be greatly welcomed and also bridge the gap for new players. Right now, the whole missing season is has left a bit of a mess.
Season3: No confirmed news, although I believe it was implied content beyond HoT would be via Living Story
The moniker “season three” hasn’t been confirmed. What has been confirmed though is that there will not be any new story content if you do not purchase the Heart of Thorns expansion. So should there be a season three of the Living Story, it will continue in the Heart of Thorns expansion which Randulf briefly mentioned.

It was said by Colin Johansen during an interview and it makes sense. Heart of Thorns takes up the story where the Living Story Season 2 ended. How would it make sense to have a season 3 that didn’t require Hot?
i never got a chance to play season 1 as i didn’t have the game when it was happening, i started playing near december and i only know of what has been happening prior to the second season due to friends who had the game, i really want to play the storyline of the first season even though i have already played through the second season, and dont mind if it was some sort of “time paradox” of having to go through a portal to travel back in time to participate in the first season, in fact that might be an interesting way to do it.
It could be that the PS revamp they’re making in a couple of months will aid in programming a replayable Season One. That’s pure speculation on my part. However, since one big problem has been they couldn’t give us old maps, and now they will be able to in the PS (old LA will be seen if you’re meeting DE or buying apples or saving Demi, woo!) that seems like one step towards providing Season One map content.
You could say season 3 is embedded into HoT. They said there will be more story (arcs) in Heart of Maguuma. HoT (or its initial batch of content) could therefore the first act of a bigger drama/epic.
