Hello, these are my thoughts about the living story: earlier, now and later. I post this because I haven’t seen this PoV on the LS yet

Flame and frost: Testing the living story, is it doable? how does the crowd react to it?

Conclusion: It goes to slow, it’s better to tie up loose ends in the GW2 universe than strating new stories.

Southsun cove: Make SC more appealing to players, end up the FF loose ends (refugees) ,begin with a new story arch.

Dragon Bash: revist the GW1 Dragon Festival, but focus on the battle against the ED make a connection with the new LS

Sky Pirates:Tell the story about the Inquest funding a gang of pirates.

Bazaar of The four winds: introduces the sky city and the zephyrs. Rumors about them having the Glint child.

the Bazaar of the four winds, actually ties in DB/SP and Bot4W in one cohesive story:

DB: tells the people:“hey the ED’s are still here!”
SP/Bot4W: Inquest is interested in ED magic and the Zephyrs have a Glint baby, but they are high in the sky and just come at land once a 30 years or something->Inquest fund SKY pirates.

This is getting interesting, right?

So I think they first were not certain were to go with the LS, but they are on the right track right now.

The glint baby story could go all ways, Crystal Desert/Kralketorrik/Elona even…

But we will see,..

I think your missing some other important elements.

Flame and Frost: Introduced us to two new characters, Braham and Roxx. Also we learned that someone unseen had been behind the Dredge/Flame legion allaince.

Southsun Cove: Introduced Kasmeer and Kiel who would and will play major roles as the story continues.

Dragon Bash: Introduces Marjory, makes us aware of a mysterious character by the name of Mr. E who warns us about trouble at the upcoming Effigy Ceremony. Marjory and Mr. E seem to have links to the Corrupt Ministry plot line that can be picked up later.

Sky Pirates: Introduces the Aetherblades and their alliance with the Inquest. We find that, like the Molten Alliance, the Aetherblades appear to have a backer. This time we get a name ‘Scarlet’. Mai makes it clear to us that the Aetherblades arent done.

BotFW: Introduces the Zephyrites who appear to have an item of great value on their airship. Sets up the election in LA for next release.

I think your right about the Sky Pirates/Zephyrite thing though. Thats my hunch particularly since Kiel is now an airship captian. However I also suspect we will find out that the backers for the Molten Alliance and the Aetherblades will end up being the same people.
