Living Story tokens and the Wallet
Until that, I’ll play GW2.
With the temporary content you could at least delete the tokens etc … sigh
“Whose Charr is this?”- “Ted’s.”
“Who’s Ted?”- “Ted’s dead, baby. Ted’s dead.”
Blade shards belong in the crafting collections, imo. They should have been put there where they became permanent.
Festival tokens, if they remain an actual permanent currency (perhaps used across multiple festivals to help reduce the sheer number of currencies), then yes, they belong in the wallet as well.
Gauntlet tickets, I’m on the fence with. You don’t buy anything with them from npcs, so it’s technically not a currency. It’s more like a raffle ticket which you redeem for a prize. So I could go either way on them. Originally, I said yes, but I’ve reevaluated since then…
Geodes belong in the wallet because they are a currency. You use them to pay for goods from the various npcs, in tandem with basic gold.
Just make one generic “Living Story” token. I already cringe at the thought of a new currency every two weeks that won’t go away.

“Who’s Ted?”- “Ted’s dead, baby. Ted’s dead.”
I’m actually not too grumpy over it myself. Considering pretty much every drop in GW1 was a collectible trophy that some collector took somewhere…. yeah, GW2 aint got nuthin on that. I had a 2nd account just packed with all those things, cause you never knew when they might be needed for something.
Geodes should be in the Wallet because they are used in a new Zone, Dry Top. And Dry top is a permanent addition to the game. One would conclude then that Geodes will be permanent.

Oh geez, don’t remind me.
What I want to know is why the hell the Zephyrites are so interested in geodes? Is there some canon explanation for this, or just a generic “Ooh, shiny! Collecting rocks is certain to help us in our time of crisis!” spiel?
They probably use the rocks to fuel their ships …
lol

Actually geodes make sense if you consider what they are and the issue at hand.
We’re told that during the crash the aspect crystals have been broken. So they don’t work as they did. Perhaps they are seeking material to create new crystals and geodes are… you got it, rocks with crystal cores.
“Well, what about the quartz nodes?”
Three possibilities here, I think. Either its 1)not the right material all together for their crystals, 2) not the only material they need for the manufacturing of the aspect crystals, or 3) just not enough of it by itself. I’m sort of leaning towards either 2 or 3 personally, since the majority of geodes are either quartz or calcite.

Crack a geode open and you may find crystals! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geode
