Hi, I purchased the Living World Season 2 from the Black Lion Trade Market A while ago and decided to run it through and grab some achievements and masteries.

Little have I noticed is that when I look at the achievements in the journal, they are locked (indicated by a padlock of sorts).

Is this how ANet wanted the game? is this a bug.
If it is how anet intended.. I would like a refund of the gem i used to purchase since the only reason i purchased the LW2 pack was for the achievements, masteries and loot.

As for anyone who might say “you purchased the experience and content”.. I could say that I could have achieved the story outcome of the content via Youtube ect. and it wouldn’t have cost me a thing.

In LW Season 2 you have to play the episode first, after that you are able to get achievements and everything else.
So play it first and after that you can re-enter instaces to complete achievements.

The first play is the for the story, future plays are for achievements.
This is no longer the case in LS3.

Its not a bug, just a minor annoyance. But for the most part, on your first playthrough you really should just relax and enjoy the story. its really good if you take the time. Worry about achievements when you return. Quite a lot of them are pretty hard if you don’t know what you’re doing, some achievements will really take you several tries, too
EDIT: This is not an acountwide unlock. Every character needs to unlock a chapter individually for achievements. So I suggest you choose a character you’re comfortable with on your first playthrough

At least they fixed that for HoT/LS3.
