Lost Bandit Chest from home instance static
To add to that, mine spawned in a wall of my sylvari home instance recently. I guess giving it a fixed place would be easier than solve the bug that puts it into quirky places.
Even being norn, you can visit human home instance and loot/gather all your nodes there. Human home instance is easier for getting Found Bandit Chest.
And they still require keys/ Not sure what for, since if you got keys in SW, it’s far more convenient to use them also in SW.
Remember, remember, 15th of November

Agree, plus the magic find buff from sw too. I think the chest should not need a key at all.
why open my bandit chest at all? is the loot better? its so much easier just to go to silverwastes AND i have to go to SW anyways cuz it takes keyes doesnt it? iv never opend it yet btw
Yeah, what’s the point of having it move, or requiring a key for it? It’s in my home instance!
Would it not have been simpler to have it be in a nice fixed spot and be openable without a key? I mean…there’s really no point to do this over chests in the Silverwastes since this chest probably has to wait until reset to be reopened, while the ones out there have respawn rates. Meh.
Attachment: In the wall…why is it in the wall? o.O

It’s the sylvari home instance, gotta be prepared to have really odd placements
It’s a “Lost” Bandit Chest, would you expect to find something that was lost in the same place each time you look? Same reason it requires a key, just think of it as a LBC from SW that ended up in your home instance, and remember, there are multiple locations of the LBC’s in SW as well.
(Hysterical nitpicky typing activate!)
So? The Lost Bandit Chests in the Silverwastes don’t move, they’re buried in the ground until you dig them up! At least the one in the home instance doesn’t require a shovel, but that’s a minor advantage when doing events in the Silverwastes can get you shovels anyways.
And, even if they did move, it would be explained by the sandy area, the creatures moving them around inadvertently…why should it move in our home instance? Are the NPCs in there just thinking “Hey, you know what, let’s just move this chest around whenever the player comes in, and even stick it in walls or nearly out of the instance, just to mess with them, heheh.”
…That probably is the case…sneaky NPCs.

It’s not a lost bandit chest.

Isn’t the one in home instance actually called a found bandit chest?
I love the fact that it moves around the home instances.
Would have preferred if it was a buried chest that uses a zephyrite pick. Those are more annoying to find and time restricted.
Didn’t even know these chests spawned in home instances till I stumbled upon one in the DR instance. Why do they spawn?

Well, when a daddy chest loves a mommy chest very much . . .
. . . just kidding, you finish “Point of No Return” and the reward includes getting a Lost Bandit Chest at your home instance.

Yes indeed, but having the Home Portal Stoneon a norn , of course i’ll go every time on norn home instance, moreover, it’s like that in every home instance
I would also prefer it if the chest was static. I don’t really see the point of it moving around; what, is there some clueless Bandit who keeps stashing his loot in a chest, coming back the next morning to find it looted, goes “I’ll find a better hiding place for it!”, repeat ad nauseaum?
