So here’s a theory I’ve been thinking about for a while now.
Remember the trailer for Entanglement? Well, recently, there has been a bunch of vines tapping waypoints or grabbing them and swaying them around. Here’s the thing… in the trailer, we see Concordia overrun by vines, and just recently Concordia’s waypoint has been seen flickering. In addition, there is a vine right outside Prosperity. What if Prosperity and Concordia aren’t the only places that will be overrun?
Think about it for a moment. What if the vines are sort of an ominous warning about the general areas that will be overrun? Some places I can think of off the top of my head that the vines make their way through are:
1. Prosperity
2. Skrittsburgh
3. Fort Salma
4. Earthworks Bluff
5. Fort Marriner
6. Concordia
And that’s just based off the places we’ve currently seen being affected. What if all six instead of two of those were to be overrun with vines everywhere? Even if it’s not all six, do remember Belinda was stated to be returning to Fort Salma over the course of the first episode. And Fort Marriner is also a very important place in Lion’s Arch, a city that has just been recently destroyed by Scarlet.
As a side note, I personally think that Mordremoth is sending these vines out to strike at the Pact, but is also using them to strike at anything that’s in his path, which would include more than just Concordia. His main target would likely be Fort Trinity, and it’s possible the second episode will begin with us trying to stop them from reaching Fort Trinity.
Thoughts?
