Make Planty Creatures count as Plants
Yes please! Probably just an oversight, but should be easy to fix.
Similar creatures (in TA and around the Jungle Wurm) do not count as plants. I suspect there is a reason.
Aye, what makes you so sure they are actual plants?
Mordy is most likely not a plant, despite the possibility of it looking like one.

Those similar creatures that are a part of TA and around the Jungle Wurm count as Nightmare Court because that’s the context within which they exist. I can’t speak for ANet, but it’d be nice if the ones we’re fighting now counted as plants for functional reasons (not currently many sources of plants for plant slayer).
If there is a reason for them being the way they are, ANet will keep doing what they’re doing when they read this. If it is an oversight and they see this, they’ll fix it. Ultimately, I’m not here to discuss what is right or wrong or to postulate on what ANet intended, I’m only here to bring it up so they see it and can decide internally.
But if they aren’t plants, then what are they?
Maybe they are multicellular Chromalveolata, like seaweed, that are not technically plants.
Or they could be like sea anemones, or sponges, or worms, that resemble plants.

But if they aren’t plants, then what are they?
Insects? Creatures? Beasts?
Walking sticks looks like sticks, that doesn’t mean they are trees.

I reckon they are Mordremoth’s nose hairs, so they won’t count towards anything except a hidden ‘Golden Trimmer’ achievement.
Or I’ve had too much sugar today.

It would be nice if more creatures other than Oakhearts etc. counted as plants. I feel bad attacking the neutral guys whenever I run past them just to build up my achievement.
Probably not an oversight.. It always ALWAYS annoyed me that the prefix of a creature negated any relation to the creature itself
If I kill a Branded Minotaur, why am I not killing a Minotaur any more?
If I kill a Destroyer Troll, IS IT NOT A TROLL!
And of course there is the Risen.. soo soo many risen, so unlike each other
The Bestiary( http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Bestiary ) classes are split by Name and not Species.
But if they aren’t plants, then what are they?
Giants, but since they look like plants, they also don’t count as giants. :|
