Why are petrified wood and blood rubies (and every future map specific collectible) not given the pristine fractal relic treatment?

What I mean by this is why am I forced to sacrifice an inventory slot to collect these items? If the rationale is because they are salvageable to unbound magic, why not add an option at the vendor to sell it for a bag of unbound magic (much like pristine becomes bag of fractal relics).

If the idea is to make them used in crafting then they should have a crafting bank space.

I guess what I am trying to say is with all of the various items that take up inventory slots, there needs to be a better implementation.

Currently there are:
legendary collection items that you need to combine or carry (especially the raid ones)
Map specific keys (crowbars, acid, zephyrite lockpicks, bandit keys, shovels, aetherkeys, etc.)
Special vendor currency (fractal research pages, reclaimed metal plates, chak eggs, petrified wood, blood rubies, circus vouchers)
Crafting materials that don’t store in materials storage (vision crystals, shimmering & tenebrous crystals, etc.)
Mystic forge only items (philo stones, gifts of exploration/battle, golden relics, mystic stones, mystic crystals, writs of exp, etc.)

Don’t worry, they can easily increase the cap and allow you to buy another 2 or 3 inventory bags
