Am I missing something with this mini pet? You need 20 cobs to get it. 1 cob = 1,000 candy corn! You need 20,000 candy corn to get this pet!

I spent all last night doing the maze, mining candy corn mounds, doing runs of all the bosses in the maze and only got 130 candy corn! I still need over 19,800 to get it!

Is there an easier way to get candy corn, or am I missing something? I am not playing 24/7 until it ends to try and get 20,000 pieces.

You can buy them from the TP, there is a massive supply there.

get the candy-corn perma-node in your home instance. Mine it once a day. should be able to afford it… in a few years.
Or just buy the candy in the auction house. prices should continue to drop.

At current prices it costs 134g to buy it if you buy all of the CC on the TP. More than anything this is an attempt by ANet to pull a lot of the CC off the TP and dwindle the supply so it becomes more valuable.

I still don’t understand why anet give us goals that require farming such as this mini for example and on the other hand they implement mechanisms that blocks farming

Fortunately for me, Liadri destroyed most of my enthusiasm for minis, and the mini clockwork thingie killed what was left. I will take them if they are easy and/or fun to get (like my sweet friend) but no longer feel driven to get them. I won’t grind for them or do other things I don’t really like doing much, and don’t feel deprived by not having them.
