More cutscenes like in Dragon Bash please
Well actually I liked a lot better how dialogue was just simply done with the in-game camera and not in a somewhat freaky medieval-noir cut-scene with open-mouth characters.
I suppose there’s no pleasing everyone. Just hope they stick with in-game camera for dialogues.
To me, the painterly cutscenes should go where there’s no dialogue involved, just narration. Just like the ones played right after you start a new character. They have a nice allegoric way of introducing things, especially when they mix 3d models into them. That would be a lot better than just that “show me mail”.

I think the method where they make the cutscene happen ingame but players could act if they wanted or know it already are the best choice. Like during the AR boss intros or during the conversation between Magnus and Kiel at the start of this arc.
I like Anet to put their time and effort in actual gameplay content/worlds/mechanics rather than a cutscene that you watch for 1 minute and then never again. In your life.
