Who else would like to see more things added to our personal instance from the living story. The quartz node was nice, but like it doesn’t need to be something you gain items from, even something as basic as say a Watch Knight, or a poster of who we voted for (Ellen/Evon) or Liadris Head on a Pike!!

That would be fantastic. It would also draw you into your home, and be able to show off to your friends what you accomplished in Living Stories. Kind of a “hall of monuments” type instance from GW.

I’d love Living Story content that drew people a) into their home instance like Belcher’s Bluff and the quartz node and b) just drew people into racial capitals in general (and hopefully more permanently than is seeming to be with the Queen’s Jubilee). The racial capitals are so empty…. And the Grove has absolutely nothing to it to draw people in (other than the story, cultural weapons/armor for Sylvari), nor hints of future stuff (ie Polymock for the Asura).

You almost described what the Home Instance was supposed to be back in 2010 lol.

“Your home instance (which consists of an area about the size of a city block, within your character’s racial city, where you have the racial equivalent of a house – a lab, for the asura, for example – several streets, some merchant’s areas, and other city-like things) will reflect your character’s victories, their accomplishments, and the people they meet in the game. It will not reflect your class, except where your class contributes to the storylines you receive in the game. Your character’s personality might change your storyline, making a difference in the characters you choose to meet and befriend, and that might affect the home instance by having different people show up to visit you there.”

and yes, I would like to see Anet get back to this as well. Currently Home instance is a waste.

Yeah it’s a cool concept, but they really dropped the ball on it, I know there’s a few people who showed up in my instance that I hardly remember from my story and it’s just like, “who the hell are you?” (Granted there are others I remember very well).

Another thing I’d like is for them to give the guys from your story a little bit of special dialogue, because it’s weird that they have nothing to say if you ask me and I doubt a dialogue box would be too difficult for them to add..

I have a disconnect with my personal instance. It doesn’t feel like I am supposed to be there. I would much rather purchase a location of my choosing than to live in that glorified tree stump full of walking cabbages.

Yeah, the sylvari home instance isn’t my -favorite- one (I really like the humans and asuras) but it’s ok. I’d LOVE to be able to choose my own, but is much rather have my current one show more of what I’ve done than to just be able to choose a new one.
