I wish that the Season 2 feel will be more like it was when I first started playing the game and less like it was during season 1.

To make things clear:
Starting the game was fun because I liked how my character grew. I had so many thing to do. So many things to accomplish. But the most fun part of it was the journey to the Orr and discovering the world. So it was both fun and rewarding.
On the other hand… Season 1 was more like this:
1. Complete short story instance.
2. Grind for two weeks to get your new and shiny back piece…

well you will not be happy…..because you aren’t getting a new 20+ zones to explore again. one or two maybe….and a bunch of stuff like in season 1 (only hopefully on par with, or better, than S1 content like marionette event or aetherblade retreat dungeon).

luckily, you won’t have to grind any achievements, because the content is permanent.

Chaos Organ (Ele), Pistol Opera (Thief), Modular Man (Eng)
MARA (EU) Gunnar’s Hold

Eumm… The game was new to you when you first started and Anet had worked on the game for what? five years or so? Don’t expect the update to give you the brand new game feeling.
1. I would like a new dungeon with a good story mode and a few explorer mode.
2. I recently wrote in a topic about GW2 being too grindy… I don’t agree but that is beside the point, my point is that I would never want GW2 to have content I need to grind to get. Hard to get like Legendary or ascended but not grindy.

But I liked that I can’t go to Orr right away after loging in for the first time. I had to earn the right to go there and it was so cool and well worth the effort. After all the journey to Orr was more fun then itself.

Well there is a difference between progress and grind. Like personal story in GW2 you can’t skip it all and compleate the game without doing the story from start to finnish. As long as there is a story and new things to do and not just mindless wacking same enemy over and over again to get stuff needed to trade to get a key that you need 50 of to open a gate to a dungeon and whatever, then I am all for it. But grind is a big no no in my book.

Hmm… But I don’t think it’s possible to even make a game that is suppose to keep you playing for hundreds of hours without adding some kind of grind.

And I would’t mind if the grind was like: completing a bunch of events around the map few times. For example an area in conflict where you help your faction by completing those events. And you’re rewarded for each event with some kind of currency and other things. And after accumulating enough currency you could buy an item that enables you to challenge a World Boss with some great rewards. That would be awesome. But it’s not going to happen…

So far season 2 is interesting tho I wish Anet would consider making some story missions that are just about our characters, and not about the fate of the world.

I think it would mix things up really nicely (and i really do miss those kind of missions from the start of the game).
