So I was reading the description of the Mysterious vine backpiece and it says that the vine was touched by Mordremoth, but under the care and influence of the ‘good hero of tyria’ or something its become good, and this got me thinking. What if the tree that the pale trees seed came from was once touched by mordremoth and made magical (might’ve even been a general of Mordy or just a random corrupted tree) and so its seeds were also ‘touched’ by Mordy. But under the influence of Ronan and Ventari, and then Ventari’s tablet – it became good. Im not saying that the ‘Mysterious seed’ is another Pale Tree seed but to me there does seem to be some similarities between the two.

Similarities sure, but the vine is still touched by Mordremoth’s corruption, hence it still having the purple color. The Pale Tree obviously not corrupted and uses a different color scheme.

The cultivated seed we get from finishing the backpack might be closer in similarities in the future. If the seed grows into an uncorrupted plant, it could be an example used in the Pale Tree’s case. She herself isn’t an Mordy minion, but one of her ancestors could have possibly been one.

You never know… It makes a Sylvari character look like they’re carrying a little bundle-of-joy on their back! LOL!!!

It might be a baby tree or a carnivorous plant (like Audrey II from Little Shop of Horrors). I’m really hoping that this plant will be sentient.

or….. if we don’t take care of it and nurture it….. it strangles us from behind!
