Need Gliding skill at Ember Bay
Basic gliding yes, everything else is just a bonus (except in the jumping puzzle where you absolutely need advanced gliding for the very last leg). Since it is the very first mastery opened I would think by the time you got to Ember bay you would have some unlocks done along that line.
Heart is not bugged the heart vendor maybe.
There are so many destroyers around that if you just hit them they add up.
Again there are tons of destroyers around.

I miss the BF gliding skills in EB. In fact, I miss them everywhere outside of BF.
They changed the ‘two people face each other’ stories a long, long time ago. Now you see what players or monsters are doing; often live in the open world.

I think the new stories are much better than Prophesies/Factions/Nightfall. We can actually move our characters. GW cutscenes offered no control, whatsoever.

welp I’d not jump so fast to demand more cinematics from AN just after having expansion full of cinematics… which all besides our hero’s visions were very poor quality…

Gliding is needed? I have gliding-5 but have not really missed ley-line gliding there. At least basic gliding is pretty much a must for the LS, but for most of the island it is optional. Sort of like lava tubes …. you do not need them as such but it solves a few problems faster.

I just bought wood from that vendor this morning. Might be sporadic…be sure and submit a bug report with a screen cap of what is offered if its still happening.

I wish the gliding skills mastery was all maps too. I miss not having them. After all all the other Masteries are still there even if the items needed, like bounce mushrooms, aren’t on the maps.
If nothing else my low levels would love to strafe and bomb the hyenas in that mini canyon in Brisbane.

Kind of like how you started to miss gliding outside of HoT after you get so used to using it? Unfortunately, I don’t think that one is coming over like gliding did to all of Tyria.
I miss the skill bar when I fly :-(
