Since the next Living Story will probably involve Mordremoth, I hope (probably in vain) that new zones north of Brisban will be introduced, such as the Magus Falls. Do you believe it is a possibility?

I personally would prefer those zones to be not level 80-only, like the Southsun Cove, but growing in difficulty organically from Brisban (think Queensdale -> Kessex -> Gendarran -> Harathi). Right now, the asura and the sylvari lack their own leveling zone post level 25, which I find somewhat disappointing because these races’ design paradigms (architecture, culture, enemy design) are quite aesthetically pleasing to me. We ought to see more of them while leveling.

I also hope that ArenaNet will explain the origin of the sylvari and probably the asura, as well as introduce the White Mantle and the mursaat. Perhaps Lazarus the Dire could be a major secondary antagonist in S2, along with Mordremoth? Elder Dragons don’t really have any personality, so adding a more human villain would give ArenaNet the ability to develop their story more – Lazarus could be like Scarlet, with a certain motive and some character development over the story… but better.

What would you like to see in Maguuma?

…Anyone? Do you think ANet should introduce new Maguuma zones?

I played through GW1 to get 30 points in the Hall of Monuments, and Maguuma Wastes sure was one of the more memorable places (in Tyria). Another cool place was the Crystal Desert. It would be fun if they brought back some cool dungeons from GW1, either as new dungeons or just revisits.

im hoping for new zones and id love that it be them and it looks like a good possibility. i love revisiting places i once went in gw1 and see how its changed

Its a possibility 1 new zone could be introduced but unlikely I think.

Any series of new zones would probably be introduced as a b2p expansion. I personally would like such new zones to be lvl 60-80 only. I see no point in zones below those levels when 99% of the player base has lvl 80’s.

Anet could surprise us, they do think out of the box, sometimes good, sometimes bad.

I see a high probability for new zones introduced during season 2. Two to four new ones seem realistic in a span of six months. I would even expect a new world boss and a new (maybe two new) dungeon(s) within one of the zones. It would give Chinese and others players a new path on the way to level 80 if Arenanet decides to go in this direction

The only problem with that is the Jungle dragon awoke in the falls.

edit: Also while split the falls into two zones? or Drytop (IIRC, that brown circle).

The end of Season 1 made it pretty clear we’ll be heading deeper into the Magumma. Marjory’s sister laid a very obvious bread crumb in that direction. Unless Anet was trolling us with a red herring, we’ll be starting Season 2 in Brisban.

If ArenaNet hasn’t planned to make new zones about this Elder Dragon then they’ve seriously done bad thinking about this new living story season. Even Brisban Wildlands has two zone portals right now which doesn't work but are clearly there for a purpose along with an asura gate too.

What I’d like is to see is low level zones at first and then the closer we get to the dragon the higher the level cap will be to then at a point finally reach 80. It would make a nice contrast along with a zone design where we would gradually see more and more corrupted lands caused by the dragon. But that’s just my wish. I’d be happy anyway if we only get new zones.
