This looks great. Though I don’t recognize the woman (human?) who is turning into Caithe, anybody else recognize her? Also love to get Faolain in the story! Love that character.

After reading the captions and watching it more, I think you’re right. Looks like the Pale Tree is going to give us a vision of Cathe’s past and we are going to play through an instance as Caithe. Probably shortly after they awoke as it looks like the Asura are experimenting on Sylvari.

Looks like there will be some cool stealth based gameplay those alert cones remind me good old Commandos:-)

I hope we aren’t going to play as Caithe. I like playing as my character and these “flashback scenarios” inherent in some MMO’s where you control a different character is not fun for me to play.

ALso, anyone else experiencing major issues with the playback of the trailer? Doesn’t play smoothly for me, just keeps skipping through the scenes.

I think we’ll be taking the role of Caithe in her past – like we did with GW1 Bonus Mission Pack and Saul.
