I get a very demonic vibe from the armor and, as we already knew, Rytlock apparently has been blinded… Remember what happened to Kormir when she got captured after the battle of Gandara? Maybe we´ll finally get the fractal about Abbadon´s initial defeat (I´m still pretty sour because people voted for that stupid reactor fractal).

Why are they doing this to us. They know will hype the crap out of this. So they better deliver something really awesome….like new weapons, expansion, new class…#Dervish with scythe…

given the record of a-nets level of content i really doubt we get a new class… cant blame me for not buying it but i do hope i get proven wrong, as for the rest… well he certainly looks like he is able to use some form of magic now, means im certain he got a new way to fight besides his sword\pistol combo, he might have met some deity..see nothing that would speak against that, corrupted? For that he looks too “normal”, only the armor changed.. and he seems to be blind now, looking at corruption in the gw2 universe pretty much always had some form of mutation coming with it (branded, risen, icebrood…etc..)..so i doubt that, cept he got corrupted in mind or something. Did he wander the mists? Maybe..it wasnt really all that clear where he went, the jungle? I doubt it actually.. but i assume he is gonna do some cool aid man like entrance (cant blame me for wanting that.. alone the thought about it is epic). Either way that patch is gonna come with some sweet armor that seems for once be made with charr in mind and for once not centered on sylvari angst or the “teen destiny’s edge”…thats something to look forward to. Heck.. if i would be able to make a wish id love to see rytlock just punch logan and get a mic drop once he appears in his new epic getup…
The most likely solution is that they can’t develop the content fast enough so they are telling the story through teaser images and we will not actually get to play any of it. Rytlock will just show back up one episode looking like that and our character will magically know everything that happened to him.
to be honest this season restored my faith in a-nets ability to tell a (fun to play) story(at least for me)
im expecting big things
even if i dont get them it will be cool cause its a different ending to season two than i would expect
