So, we have had these living story pieces where we face an entire faction. First, it was Molten Alliance, meaning Dredge and Flame Legion. Now, it’s Pirates and Inquest. This is probably the start of a pattern, a major racial nemesis group together with a minor or alternate group.
And thus, I want to hear your guesses for who will join up with the Ministry, Nightmare, or Svanir, assuming they’re the next or upcoming antagonists.

I honestly am sort of expecting the Mursaat or at least White Mantle, they are currently the closes to a shadow group right now and we know absolutely nothing about their current activities other then controlling the bandit groups.

As for what group is next: I want to say…….nightmare court and krait maybe? Or Svanir and maybe Jotun. It’s already set that some Jotun do have interest in looking towards Jormag for power.

Do not forget that antagonists stretch beyond the racial enemies.

Thus, future stories might include the Nightmare Court/Svanir, but are just as likely to feature centaurs, krait, harpies, ettin/giants, Jotun, or ghosts. Likewise, more friendly stories might delve into the kodan, tengu, largos, or minor species lifestyles.

So many possibilities.

i actually think we will see all the group get together united against us. i think they are united now but the attack so far are just trying to see the allied forces defenses are and they are deciding where to start the all out attack but for now they are trying to throw distrust at the allies. maybe by having thing like the char rep dying by a human on human lands causing more charr to join the flame legion

I wanna kill Dagnar Stonepate all over again.

I like the idea of Ministry as antagonists.

Minister Caudecus is being set up as the sinister man behind the curtains.

But I’d like it even more if there were more shades of grey. Maybe if Caudecus has a good reason for his dodgy behaviour, you know, greater good and all that jazz.

Especially with Marjory’s noir flavour of storytelling. Makes for an interesting whodunnit plot.
