I hope this is not true but they say there is some big changes coming to PvP on December 2nd, this will coincide with the next chapter of Living world, considering this was so much shorter than last patch I am hoping this is not the case. As there is certainly not enough PvE content here to keep us happy until the 16th December and we have only been back into Living World for 2 patches and they surely are not already taking a break.

What do you guys think not sure what to make of it but if this is the case i’m sure many people will be unhappy with it, even me at the moment i’m hoping its not the case so im in hope that we will still get a patch for us PvE’ers but given there history im not expecting this

I really don’t see anything at all that even implies that there won’t be a living story episode coming on December 2nd.

It’s not the same team that did the PvP feature that did the LS content. There’s no reason to expect another gap between now and the end of the current season.

Really? You have no clue if they are not doing an episode for the LS or not yet. They don’t announce it until it’s close to being available. PvP has been waiting for some changes and they finally get them and you want to complain?

Not Complaining as such just when I read the announcement I got this thought that they won’t be releasing the next Chapter, I am hoping its not the case, I don’t PvP so it would be a shame to me if there is no patch for us PvE Players.

I’m all for changes to PvP and if they release them simultaneously then i am perfectly happy just read it and put 2+2 together and hopefully i’m just being too pessimistic to arena net.

I don’t mean to offend or complain, it was just an observation as the date of the PvP stuff is on patch day.

They outlined some of the changes they’re planning on making. They never said that the LS was going on a break so you can safely assume that we will get the next chapter on schedule.

To add something that I believe is relevant:
“Therefore he (Meelad Sadat, Head of PR at Anet) didn’t want to say how many episodes are going to be left in the season, but did say that starting with the Halloween episode they are back on their two-week cadence up through Wintersday on December 16th before going on holiday break. As to what is going to happen after that, Meelad said that they will keep players informed of when there will or won’t be a patch, like how they announced the Halloween and start of each half of Season 2 well in advance.”

Would much rather have a pvp update, than a new LS.

What makes me giggle is they actually try to make it sound like it’s something huge for the game. Last time there was an ESL finals competition or whatever, i joined 1h after it started the stream just to give it a shot.

Not only was it boring as F, but the viewer number was around 200-300 ppl. Minecraft streams have 10x more.

…but hey let’s invest in something a handful of people are actually interested and let’s just skip the main game.

I couldn’t give less of a kitten about “gw2 esports”. But why shouldn’t they invest in making the pvp experience better for us who enjoys pvp?
For some, this IS the main game.
