Guild Wars 2

I am trying to start dragons reach part 2 party politics. It says check your email. But no email appears. I tried starting another episode and then retrying with same results.

Delete all of your mail and also clear out any items on the TP waiting to be picked up.

I went through and deleted a number of emails and that seems to have broken the log jam. I reselected the episode and got the event email.

Just an fyi. The story journal is rather inconsistent with how it handles mail. What I mean by that is, in many cases if you replay an episode in the story journal, and you’re told to read a letter, if you haven’t deleted that letter from last time, it won’t send you a new one. Instead, reading that old letter will trigger it to progress.

This doesn’t always happen though and sometimes it sends you duplicates. Which is rather inconsistent and annoying, but whatever.
