Option to burn down divinity reach?
I don’t think there will be an option to join the white mantle in their attempted conquest of Divinity’s Reach. In GW2 we always play the goody two shoes.

Nah. If we’re allowed to burn down anything, it should be the Grove first.

Destruction is nice, but I fear DR will become another Disney Waterpark Parking Lot like lions arch, so.. pass
Nah. If we’re allowed to burn down anything, it should be the Grove first.
If players are allowed to burn down the Grove, they would be allowed to burn down everywhere.

Now I’m dying laughing!
Do you suppose the Queen held enough of the Seraph back in DR, now that it’s come to that?

- On the one hand, she has Logan.
- On the other, the Seraph couldn’t even save a hospital and an orphanage at the same time, even though we divided up because that was why the Gods invented teamwork.
I’d say the fate of Divinity’s Reach is in the hands of [Fate] (that’s the guild made up of Angel Leigh McCoy, Bobby Stein, Peter Fries, et al). In other words, do the game’s writers think that Jennah held back enough Seraph?

I totally read that in Silverwastes-officer voice. XD

I, for one, trust Peter Fries to do the write thing.

Divinity’s Reach WILL NOT FALL!
Keep in mind: last time the Powers That Be™ declared that a City Would Not Fall©, Scarlet invaded Lion’s Arch.

That declaration was made by a bunch of pirates, what do they know :P
EDIT: Also LA was pretty much entirely made out of scrap wood, with barely any defenses to speak of. DR is a super fortress with a large army, watch knights and probably even airships (we know the humans have some).
Bring it on Caudecus!
Also lets not forget Scarlet came for the Leyline, she didn’t care about LA. She let her forces destroy as much as possible and keep us busy while she started drilling.
Caudecus doesn’t come to destroy, he comes to rule. He wants the throne, and by extension DR, for himself.

some seraph say that in SW. While that was years ago, it’s a statement about her lack of militant experience leading her to send too many away.

That was terrorism though, which is very hard to prevent,
especially if bombs are involved. As is evidenced by real world events almost every day now. When it comes to terrorism you can have the strongest and largest military in the world, you can never truly prevent it, not through military might anyway.

oh great, another epic ho hummmm…cities burning, dragons coming…yeah, whatever. Have they got the time and effort to find something unique, innovative, original? Guess not.
I’d love to join White Mantle and burn down Divinity’s Reach... but *sigh*.. we always play as the ’’good guys’’.
Wish you could’ve choosed sides, that would have been way more interesting.
Since we all know what will happened...
Bam bam, White mantle shoots and kills...
Oh look Dragon’s Watch is coming to save Kryta’s capital city!
The ’Pact Commander/hero’ or whatever we call ourselves nowadays along with our dramatic group kicked White Mantles butts and everyone is happy!!!
yaaaayy.......

And Brahm will whine about something.
Yeah, fire is cool
Some say Divinity’s Reach will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I’ve seen of the City’s spires
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.
