Hi,

I love the current design with instances and their achievements, which can be completed after all the story has been seen, but…

Yes, I absolutely HATE not being able to leave any given instance at any point. I have seen all the story, I am not progressing, then why do I have to go through all the same dialog over and over just to get to the “Leave Instance” button? And the achievements… if I fail the attempt, I have to LOG OUT OF THE GAME to try again! It’s madness!

Please allow for the button to always be there.

I will admit, I wish there was always an option to leave an instance easily as long as you are out of combat.

What I generally do is “leave the area” and go into the red zone. That will boot you out of the instance without logging out. However, this is almost impossible to do in the instance where you, Kasmeer and Marjory are checking out the wreck site because the only places in the red zone are over the edge, and Kasmeer keeps catching you. Many of the recent instances are in tight enough areas that there is no escape. For those you do have to log out to at least the character screen.

I totally agree with the OP, although I find skipping through the dialogue to be more annoying. In this case I actually miss the original conversation animations, which would have given me more of a sense of my own presence first time and the ability to skip quickly the second time.

It’s nice to have a visual confirmation that nothing’s left to be done in certain instances (the ones that don’t have the big “reward” pop-up at the end of them), though.

Perhaps adding an option to the main menu would be best?

Lupini noted the two methods of leaving: get into a red hash zone, or relog to character select. Either one resets the instance to its start if you haven’t got the completion yet.
