Ok i made the first new backpack and from it i got the pet seed, not the cultivated one. Some people say that now i cant make the ascended because of the bug yet dulfy says i can, any idea if i can make it ascended by just skipping that step with the cultivated or no?

Go to Azarr Softhoof in the Oasis in Dry Top, and you can exchange the Pet Seed for a new Cultivated Seed.

Also, not sure if you can skip it or not, but I prefer to play it safe on this one.

From what I know the bug changed into the different direction; you’re now able to skip the step, but you won’t unlock the cultivated vine once you get Mawdrey and you’d need to get another mysterious seed and make a mysterious vine out of it.

Well Mawdrey is a better version of the vine so i dont even care for the T2 i just want to know if i can skip the cultivated step or not, so it seems that i can
