I’m not a forum frequenter but this is the only time I will say this.
Next Time pick a better time to release living world.
Living world content may not effect servers with high pops…but for those of us with medium populations and trying to hold our place in the ranks…it effects us alot.
And this is the third or fourth time this has happend.
I know I’m just one guy, and I’m not saying its not fun. But the timing could not be any worse on these Living World Releases. And it has to stop now…
Please move these dates to another day like Thursday or atleast wait till WvW seasons are over.
Its like running two events at the same time, One for WvW and another for PvE. But most folks will go to the PvE in this game, not that I can blame them, the PvE stuff looks cool and shiney. But dangit the timing is bad for WvW people who dedicate their time and life to defending, offending and commanding.
I’m not just speaking for my server, but I know other servers fill the ripple of it as well.

It is very good timing, my server has won already the season and has nothing to do for these last 2 weeks, for other servers its the same thing everyone can just choose to go WvW or PVE, and ye ofcourse servers with more active WvWers than PVErs have advantage now but i dont see whats wrong with that.
If your server cares more about PVE than WvW then ofcourse you should be in disadvantage against other servers.

True but WvW seasons are the same for everyone isn’kitten

To the OP, LS affecting WvW or not it affects all servers. So everyone have an equal amount of disadvantage which makes it fair. So I’m not sure why it matters too much.

I’m happy they reintroduced the Bazaar of the Four Winds. It was the only update I really enjoyed in LS1. It was time to start another LS-chapter. The WvW season is simply too lengthy. 4-6 Weeks would have been more than enough.

And yes, LS affects all servers but not in equal measure.

Though I love WvW, I’d be a bit sad if you’d have to wait even longer for the next Living Story chapter. Everyone loses players to it, surely some more than others, but there will never be a perfect balance.

I am sick and tired of WvW getting the short end of Anet’s stick.

What’s even worse than the timing is the fact that Pavilion is nothing like it was… No viscious claws, no magic find booster, nothing to keep one going except running from boss to boss… the mobs were much better before and at least they had decent drops, now it’s just junk.

WvW deserves better than this interruption at the end of Season 2 when most servers are trying to setting new guilds and rebuild from the mess that is WvW right now.
