Am I just doing this wrong? I’ve kicked the same chicken more than a hundred times, but still no achievement. I’ve kicked all the chickens in the area way more than 30 times each and nothing.

It should proc pretty fast. It worked for me when I pinned a chicken to the wall inside the cave and rapidly booted it many times, with no one else also kicking.

I don’t know how many times it took, but it took me around 10, maybe 20 minutes to get. After a few minutes, I changed my goal to how far can I kick it, since it doesn’t run back unless you let it recover. I went down to the chest behind the bone wall, twice.

it should be 10 kicks. make sure its a chicken that dropped feathers in the first place

I kicked a chicken for 10 minutes yesterday and nothing happened. Pretty sure the achievement is bugged.

Also kicked different chicken 30+ times, but no achievement. Tried to kick rapidly in the wall, tried wait until chicken stands.

Something is odd though, I did this achievement this weekend with a chicken that gave feathers, and it took me well over 10 kicks to get it (at least 30). Finally got it by repeatedly kicking him into a wall as quickly as I could.

Everyone I know including me all needed exactly 10 kicks, so it’d be strange if it was anything else. Maybe you kicked them too fast and 2 out of 3 kicks didn’t get registered?

Probably, considering it took me well over 50, maybe 100 kicks as I chained it out of the area. Alternatively, you and those you know are just really lucky and it has something like a 5% chance after a the first few kicks. When you kick it, it pauses for a second before running back. You probably have to wait for that or else it doesn’t count.

I did not notice that it ran all the way back, so if that is required I was probably kicking it too fast indeed.

I tried helping my husband get this achievement last night, and it never triggered for him. I counted 20 kicks (on a chicken that gave a feather on the first kick), and he still never got it. When I did it (the day after release), it triggered as soon as I did 10 kicks, rapidly. So, I think it is kind of buggy right now.

Same here , three differnt chickens more than 30 times and … nothing.

Repeatedly kicking the same chicken until it explodes and down you. You will get this achievement right away.

I don’t know what it is, because I’ve seen people get it just fine. Maybe it’s circumstantial, maybe an active event is interfering, maybe it’s luck-based, maybe you need to have a story step up or passed (I did it after completely finishing and closing the chapter)

It is surely bugged. Trying to get this achi for 2 days now. Kicking all the chickhens more then 20 times each still bears no fruit.

This is currently a bug that we’re having with the Playing Chicken Achievement. We’re currently aware of the situation and are working towards getting a fix in for the issue. Thank you for reporting this!
