ok so I made it the first 2 times with the sun spirit thingy but now it dosen’t work and i’m not sure how to do it, pls help

So I restarted an took a guildie with me, I got the same thing again I couldn’t do it the 2 and 3rd time but he could so bringing a friend helps

From my experience, you have to time it right. When he does the fiery shield type move, he sends out pulses that repel your character. Target him, line yourself up, and time your dash to hit him in between the pulses.

you need to click second time when you are inside his shield

I just pressed 2 once, charged into him, shield went down. No other buttons needed pressing.

I just dashed right into him, and once the dash ended, it brought his shield down!

Seemed to work fine for me as long as he is targeted when you dash.

Yea, a lot of “false” tips up until you posted the solution. Get the sun aspect, line yourself up in front of his shield and charge. No need to press 2 more than once. Hit him inside and his shield should be lowered. If not, bug…

Having him selected as a target helps a lot as well. You can line up like mad and press just a single time and still have the bug.

Doing the same but with [SPOIL] as a target solves the bug.

Yeh, you need to have him targetted. Took me about 10 attempts before I figured this out
