I’m a player with a lot of alts and I don’t want to replay the story every time I want to do achievement with different characters.

You don’t have to replay it with every character. You just need to unlock it with each character.

Isn’t unlocking same as replaying it? Or am i missing what you’re saying
Cause i finished it on my guardian and unlocked it. But then when i went onto my thief, it wasn’t unlocked, even after i went to the zone and instance

I really hope they don’t intend to make the LS soul bound, that would be kinda weird, even tho i understand they are trying to make it like “personal story” so it would make sense to have it soulbound if you think of it that way… ><

EDIT: Maybe i should say “it wasn’t completed* on my thief”
I was expecting it to be unlocked acc wide like S1 but if they’re making LS like PS, then this would make sense..

Just sucks i’m gonna have scattered completions of LS throughout my toons (do they even let you do chapt 2 if you havent finished chapt 1?)
Either that or i’ll feel forced to only use one particular toon for LS progress =( (or replay it on other toons first =\)

No, in fact, I’ve just been made aware that when you unlock it on one character, it will unlock on all your characters, present and future. So no worries there.

I can’t tell if it’s unlocking account wide or not.

I did the first 3 instances on my necro. Then a few hours later, a friend came on and wanted to do it. I was on my guardian at the time. When I entered the first instance I got a warning that I wouldn’t be progressing my story line. I did the first 3 instances again on my guardian, getting that warning each time. When I checked where the story was on my guard, it was still at the first instance, meet my allies, even though I had done it with my friend.

At that point I switched back to my necro to do the 4th instance.

The content is unlocked account-wide, the progression however is character-bound.
